True, Everton are a big and established club in the Premier League, but they almost got relegated to the Championship at the end of this season.

If Newcastle make a good offer to Everton for the Belgian, then the Toffees could sell him.

And the midfielder himself could be open to a move to the Magpies.

After all, Newcastle are a massive club who could be challenging for the Premier League title in the coming years.

And Onana is only 21.

Described as “the real deal” by former West Ham United winger Trevor Sinclair on talkSPORT (30 August, 10.50am), Onana did well for Everton this season.

The midfielder, who moved to the Toffees only last summer, made 29 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.
