Newcastle United and West Ham United could be among the options for Maurizio Sarri.
That’s according to Il Messaggero, who state the manager has received offers from the Premier League duo.
Eddie Howe and David Moyes are in charge at Newcastle and West Ham respectively, and they are currently sixth and eighth in the league table.
The Hammers were knocked out of the Europa League by Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday.
Sarri has a new agent and is now represented by Frank Trimboli, who has brought offers from Newcastle and West Ham. The manager is ‘still undecided’ on his next destination and is ‘evaluating’ offers from these two clubs.
Il Messaggero state the manager could take Alessio Romagnoli and Mattéo Guendouzi with him to his next club for €50m.
Newcastle United claims don’t make a great deal of sense given Howe isn’t doing a bad job this season with all the difficulties he’s faced. There’s a lot more doubt at West Ham, and a distinct feeling many supporters have grown tired of the Moyes era.
