Anthony Gordon continues to shine for Newcastle United with his place at this summer's European Championships looking more nailed on with each passing week.
Gordon impressed once again during Saturday's 4-1 win over Burnley, despite not finding the net in the Turf Moor rout. However, even if the winger isn't scoring himself, he is still playing a part as Newcastle score at will these days.
Gordon set up Bruno Guimaraes for Newcastle's third as they cruised into an unassailable lead by the interval. In the second-half, the former Everton star also won his sixth penalty of the season - before Alexander Isak saw his effort from the spot saved.

Gordon has now scored 10 goals and notched 10 assists for Newcastle in the Premier League this season, becoming only the third player to manage such a feat in black and white. The England hopeful joins Andy Cole and Ruel Fox, who achieved the record in 1993-94 and 1994-95 respectively.
It is hard to see how Gordon does not take his seat on the plane to Germany this summer with such statistics to his name, with his club form ranking among the league's best in recent months. Three Lions chief Gareth Southgate was in attendance at Turf Moor over the weekend to witness another fine display, as well as seeing Callum Wilson find the net yet again following his injury return.
Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden are all fellow, young attackers who should also make the 26-man England squad - but Gordon certainly deserves his place over the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish, who have both been out of form this season.
“He has been outstanding all year," Southgate said of Gordon this week after a trip to the north east. "We were able to see him in the Champions League games, which, of course, is very similar to our world, knockout games against top-level opponents.
“Then the fact that he is weighing in with goals is important, but also the work he does off the ball. He works tirelessly for the team, and I think we saw that in our games in March as well. We were very pleased with what he did.”
