Newcastle United stars look to still be enjoying their Carabao Cup success as a number of Eddie Howe's senior stars were spotted enjoying a spot of Premier League Darts on Tyneside on Thursday.

With the club's highly-anticipated trophy parade set to take place on Saturday, members of the first-team warmed up with a night of team bonding at the Utilita Arena. Dan Burn was the first to be spotted by the television cameras, sitting alongside fellow Wembley hero Harvey Barnes.

Kieran Trippier, John Ruddy and Matt Targett were also spotted from Howe's senior group as Luke Littler triumphed on the night, beating Luke Humphries to secure his fourth Premier League win of the year.

Barnes and Burn were spotted by the Sky cameras as the action unfolded, with the former holding up a hand-written sign that read: "Follow @BigDanBurn." The Instagram account, which posted its first image on Wednesday, has 18,000 followers as of Friday morning.

Speaking last week after the cup win, Howe admitted he wanted his players to let loose after a huge win over Liverpool. Many of the squad, who weren't on international duty, jetted off to Dubai to continue to celebrations post-Wembley, while also taking part in some warm weather training.

"There has to be a big celebration," he said in the immediate aftermath of the win. "I certainly will be encouraging it, which is very rare for me, usually I'm the other way. We have to celebrate, hopefully with our supporters, with everyone that's waited so long."

Those celebrations will culminate on Saturday as the players and staff take a bus journey through the streets of Newcastle before arriving at the Town Moor for a special event in front of thousands of supporters. The evening is set to include live music, DJs, on-screen match highlights and special guests.
